As the National Engineering Research Center of Membrane Technology, R&D is the core of TBM's development strategy. R&D work is mainly focused on the solution to basic problems in the process of membrane preparation, fabrication of novel membranes with excellent performances, industrialization of membrane and integration with other separation processes.
With more than 40 years of R&D experiences on membrane technology, TBM has attained outstanding achievements on research, such as over 40 patents and nearly 20 kinds of significant prizes awarded by State,ChineseAcademyof Sciences (CAS) andLiaoningProvince. Based on the proprietary and licensed membrane technologies, TBM so far has developed various membrane products for gas separation of H2, N2, O2, volatile organic components and so on, as well as UF and NF membrane products applied to the field of water treatment.
For years TBM has attached great importance to the technical infrastructure work, at present R&D center has several membrane producing lines for hollow fiber and flat sheet membranes, more than 20 sets of professional equipments and instruments for analysis and evalsuation of membrane. Supported by the team of multi-disciplinary membrane researchers and advanced equipments in R&D center, TBM will push forward advances and innovations of membrane technology continuously.
